Ingredients:
25 g yeast
2.5 dl water
100 g durum wheat flour + a little extra for rolling out
150 g tipo 00 wheat flour
150 g plain wheat flour
2 tsp salt
0.5 dl oil
Procedure:
Dissolve the yeast in the water, add the other ingredients, and knead together.
Cover the dough and leave it to rise in a warm place for 30 minutes.
Divide the dough into 2 pieces, roll each piece into squares 0.5 cm thick on a floured table – use durum flour if you like.
Cut the dough into 1 cm wide strips and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Cover the strips and let them rise for 10 minutes.
Bake at 160 degrees Celsius on the middle rack for 10 minutes.
Chef's tip: Add a little grated Parmesan cheese or rosemary to the dough for extra flavor in your breadsticks.
